Worldwide, a recent study estimated that on average, 30% of the world is currently myopic and by 2050, almost 50% will be myopic—a staggering 5 billion people.

Advances in spectacle lens technology introduce innovative options like lenses equipped with specific optical zones or Defocus Incorporated Soft Segments (D.I.S.S.), designed to mitigate myopia progression.
